Welcome! I am a social and personality psychologist at Fairfield University. I am the principal investigator in the Moral Psychology and Social Cognition (MASC) Lab where I work with Fairfield University undergraduates and faculty and student collaborators at other institutions on projects (primarily) related to moral psychology (especially empathy and its relation to helping behavior), implicit social cognition, open and reproducible science, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
I am passionate about the teaching of psychological science and I regularly teach courses in introductory psychology, social psychology, personality psychology, and research methods. I also serve as an executive reviewer for the Collaborative Replications and Education Project (CREP) where I work to provide professional growth opportunities to students and instructors as I shepherd them through the process of completing direct replications and replications + extensions of highly-cited studies in psychology.
Please explore the links about to learn more about my research, teaching, and student mentorship.
